Introduction
  • The Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Bazaar): was built in 1660 by Hatice Sultan with the taxes collected from Cairo for the trade of Egyptian commodities, especially herbs and spices. The domed bazaar is L-shaped and belongs to the complex of the Yeni Valide Mosque. The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.
  • Bosphorus by boat: On the  waterway separating the two continents, Asia and Europe. Opportunity  to take photographs of marble palaces and ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture,  besides modern residences and luxurious apartments.
  • Emirgan Imparial Garden & Sari Kosk: In the heart of Emirgan’s woodland preserve, the massive ‘gingerbread-style’ Sari Kosk stands out like a Victorian dollhouse. Now more of a restaurant than a historic residence, it's the stopping point for anyone strolling through the park with excelland view and atmosphere.
